Transitioning Support Channels

Hi folks,

Today, I’ll be announcing that Afterthought System transitioning one of our support channels over to another system that we will be relying on.

In our company model, we always knew that we wanted to transition from Discord Support, so today, August 30, 2020 I will be announcing that in 2 days Discord Support is no longer going to be offered. The alternative would be to chat with us live via our live chat platform. For those individuals that currently still have active tickets, they will remain open, but after they are closed we will not reopen them.

Check out the commonly asked questions below.

What will change?
We will no longer be offering support through Discord, Inc a voice, video and text communication service used by over a hundred million people to hang out and talk with their friends and communities. This means that all support will be handled through a different support channel.

What is the alternative after Discord Support is removed?
On September 1st, we will be removing modules to create new tickets. As an alternative we recommend you starting a live chat with us when you are in need of support, sending us an email at [email protected] or sending us a Twitter DM. Please note: There are limitations to providing support through social media platforms. We may redirect you over to our live chat system.

Why?
Afterthought System has always been striving for professionalism, and we believe that offering support on Discord, a gaming platform was not professional. In addition, we believe that managing new chats, emails, Twitter DMs, tickets, etc was more organized when hosted on our support system rather than having multiple systems in place.

If you have any questions or concerns please ping our support team through email at [email protected] or our live chat at https://tawk.to/chat/5bb30c118a438d2b0cdfe9fc/default

Regards,
Johnny
